Started in early 2022, KFL has quickly grown from just one mixed-age division, to a three division league with 8 teams in each offering up to multiple training sessions per week and matches at the weekend.

 

There’s nothing that makes us happier than see a player score their first ever goal, the smile that beams across their face!

We started to give children that opportunity, over 85% of the children with us for the first season were playing for the first time, many others had been training with teams and were not involved in games or didn't get a lot of minutes. We gave them that.

We are simply a league for every child to play, regardless of ability. Everyone plays and we shine a light on every player.

What are our leagues and how do they work?

Foundation League - Aimed at those who are starting their football journey offers an unique start with specifically designed sessions to teach them the FUNdamentals they need to take that next step.

Development League - The next step after our Foundation League. Once the FUNdamentals are nailed, its time to move onto a more competitive and detailed division.

Academy League - The players now understand the game, know how they want to play and are starting to develop their own tactical preferences, It's time to move onto our most advanced group. A more tactical and technical division for the older players to showcase their skills on a bigger pitch with coaches who are looking at the players own personal development both on and off the pitch.
